Grameen Trust (GT) reaches 1,517 Nobin Uddyoktas (NUs) by the end of 51st Internal Social Business Design Lab (ISBDL) held on July 14, 2016. The Design Lab was chaired by Professor H. I. Latifee, Managing Director,Grameen Trust where fifty proposals were presented by the potential NUs. Out of fifty proposals, forty eight proposals were approved and two proposals were sent for review. Two proposals which were referred for review in the 48th and 50th Internal Design lab were also approved during this lab. Total amount of investment approved to fifty projects is Tk. 47,40,000 (USD 60,000).
Till July 14, 2016 GT has approved 1,517 Nobin Udyokta projects with the equity investment of BDT 195,305,000 (USD 2,472,215). The business of the projects includes shop, livestock and fisheries, factory, cottage industry, business, service and transportation, etc.
